MACCO Robotics is a Spanish startup developing advanced robotics solutions focused on human–robot interaction, targeting sectors such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, and leisure. Headquarters in Seville, the company operates internationally through offices in Madrid, Barcelona, London, and Dubai, designing robotic systems suitable for real, customer-facing environments. In collaboration with PRIO, a pilot project was carried out to automate service station stores using humanoid robots in kiosk format, aiming to improve operational efficiency while introducing innovative, technology-driven customer interactions within the retail context.
