The pilot introduced circular economy principles into the HoReCa sector by implementing a structured system for collecting and valorizing spent coffee grounds generated at participating locations. Coffee waste was separated at source, collected, and redirected to be processed into sustainable, value-added ingredients for use in industrial applications such as beauty, food, and materials manufacturing. The pilot aimed to validate the operational feasibility of the collection and logistics model, quantify the reduction in carbon footprint compared to traditional waste disposal, and assess the economic potential of transforming coffee waste into a secondary raw material. The results demonstrated how waste streams from hospitality operations could be converted into scalable, revenue-generating resources while contributing to environmental sustainability goals. 

The pilot involved leveraging stored historical data to design and train a set of artificial intelligence models within Automaise’s AI Factory. The objective was threefold: first, to improve the accuracy of competitor price forecasting; second, to optimize PRIO’s pricing strategy based on predictive insights; and third, to define the data requirements needed for a medium-term rollout, including the incorporation of seasonal patterns and high-traffic, one-off events. This initiative aimed to enhance pricing intelligence, support data-driven decision-making, and strengthen PRIO’s competitive positioning. 

The pilot involved implementing a data-driven, automated task management tool to strengthen communication between headquarters and store teams and streamline daily operations. The solution centralized task assignment, tracking, and reporting, ensuring that priorities defined at headquarters were clearly communicated and consistently executed at store level. During the pilot, store managers used the platform to receive structured guidance, monitor performance indicators, and manage operational routines more efficiently. The objective was to reduce time spent on administrative coordination, increase alignment across locations, improve execution standards, and ultimately drive measurable gains in store performance and managerial effectiveness.
